Location and Resources
The instructional, laboratory and other physical facilities that relate to the academic program have the equipment necessary to facilitate the classes: lecture tables and chairs, massage and clinic treatment tables, anatomical and point location charts and "Gold Man" models. Modern equipment used to demonstrate the latest clinical techniques of Oriental Medicine, such as a helium-neon scanning laser, is used for classroom demonstration. Interns in the Student Clinic use a number of computer programs to enter patient data, track herb inventory and create a nutritional profile.
Racine Campus
The Midwest College's main campus and administrative offices are located in southeastern Wisconsin, offering a combination of city and country lifestyle. Students relocating from other parts of the country will find a moderate cost of living, good job market, and ample opportunity for boating, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
Racine, Wisconsin is located on the shore of Lake Michigan, between Milwaukee and Chicago. The lakefront harbor and colorful state parks make Racine a beautiful and peaceful place to live. Chicago Campus
The campus in Chicago is located in the city's northside Lakeview neighborhood on the south side of Montrose Ave., a few blocks west of Lake Shore Drive and one block east of Broadway Ave. Take the red line "El" train and exit at Sheridan Rd. Students who choose to relocate to Chicago will find the cost of living reasonable for a city with such a large number of cultural and entertainment venues.
