This class focuses on treatment strategy based upon traditional and modern Chinese medicine. It is the part of the program where theoretical information is put into clinical context. Syndromes of diseases, based upon classic and modern texts, are covered in detail. Students learn to choose the appropriate herb formulas and make dietary recommendations that best treats the disease or condition. The teacher brings clinical experience and case study discussions including herbs and food therapy to these classes.
