Topics include office organization, accounting, record-keeping, insurance, and the legal aspects of a practice. State regulations regarding the practice of complementary therapies are covered. FDA regulations and state laws are discussed. An important part of this class is learning how to start a new practice, select office space, plan an office layout, and equip a clinic. An exercise in selecting and opening an office, planning public relations, and advertising is part of this class.
