This class includes procedures of physical and neurological exam, providing an understanding of the methods used in making a physical diagnosis. Students are introduced the fundamentals of physical examination with a comparison of normal and abnormal physiological states, and the indicators of disease related to an unbalanced diet. Instruction is given in emergency problems, methods of diagnosis and treatment. Students learn when to make appropriate referrals.
