This class covers the microbiological considerations of sterile technique in modern Acupuncture. Students receive intensive instruction in the techniques of clean needle insertion as approved by current national standards. After successfully demonstrating sterile technique, students begin their experience with needle insertion. The Midwest College has developed very specific objectives for the Needle Technique series of classes. The learning objectives for each class session are coordinated with skills development. There is a workbook/manual for this series of classes that assures all students meet the objectives and gain proficiency in technique.
